What it does

The environment documentation you always meant to write.

Point it at a Prism Central, or directly at a cluster, and get a complete, filterable picture of the platform. Collect once, keep the snapshot, export any format later.

Point and click

A desktop app for Windows and macOS. Enter the Prism Central address and credentials, pick your formats, press Collect and Export. No CLI required.

Read only, by design

Only GET and list calls, ever. Credentials live in the OS keychain, and the app never opens an external port.

Offline snapshots

Every collection is saved locally as a snapshot. Re-export a Word document from last quarter without touching the cluster again.

Two connection modes

Prism Central mode covers every registered cluster plus DR, Flow, Files, IAM, and NDB. Direct Prism Element mode inventories a single cluster's infrastructure.

License and feature audit

Detects applied licenses and editions, then flags features that are licensed but unconfigured, and configured but unlicensed.

Resilient collection

One collector per product area. If a feature is not deployed, it is skipped and noted; one broken collector never aborts the run.

The whole Nutanix Cloud Platform, not just VMs.

Platforms: Windows and macOS desktop app
Prism Central: pc.2024.1 through 7.5, with version negotiation at connect time. Out of range versions warn but proceed.
Prism Element: AOS 6.5 through 7.5 in direct cluster mode
APIs: Nutanix v3 and v2 REST today, v4 SDKs as targets support them. NDB via the Era API.
Safety: Read only collection, credentials in the OS keychain, local only processing
Status: Full platform inventory and all three exports are complete and being validated in live labs. Snapshot diffing and NKP, NAI, and Data Lens collectors are next.
